Built to help credit unions safely make more of those loans happen.
Far too often, the old system was built to exclude workers and communities of color from the wealth created in companies over time. And, in most cases, the current loan marketplace doesn’t make it easy to break the cycle.
This project will help employees buy the company they work for, particularly in communities impacted the hardest by generations of racialized capitalism. Which will help close the wealth gap.
Non-extractive profits above the loan yield will go back into the community as mutual aid and support for the next generation of worker-owners.
